Our Care

Many of our patients come to us after years of symptoms, multiple opinions, and being told everything looks “normal” even though they still do not feel well. We take a root-cause, functional medicine approach to uncover the deeper patterns driving symptoms and create a personalized plan for healing.

Conditions We Help With

We commonly support patients in these areas:

  • Digestive and gut health — bloating, gas, constipation, diarrhea, reflux, food sensitivities, suspected SIBO or dysbiosis patterns, and post-infectious gut issues.

  • Hormones and endocrine health — thyroid dysfunction, Hashimoto’s patterns, adrenal stress, fatigue, sleep disruption, PMS/PMDD patterns, perimenopause/menopause support, testosterone and estrogen balance, and blood sugar dysregulation.

  • Cardiometabolic health and weight — prediabetes, metabolic syndrome, advanced cardiovascular risk, weight resistance, and fatty liver risk factors.

  • Immune, inflammation, and autoimmunity — autoimmune patterns, chronic inflammation, allergy and sinus issues, and histamine intolerance.

  • Chronic infections and complex illness — chronic Lyme and tick-borne illness patterns, recurrent infections, and complex multi-system chronic illness.

  • Brain, mood, energy, and sleep — chronic fatigue, brain fog, stress, mood-related symptoms, and poor sleep.

  • Environmental and detox support — mold, mycotoxins, heavy metals, toxicant burden, and detoxification support.

  • Optimization and healthy aging — personalized strategies for nutrition, supplementation, recovery, prevention, and longevity.

Advanced Testing

We use specialized and personalized testing to help uncover root causes that may not be visible through standard screening alone. Testing is ordered thoughtfully and used to answer meaningful clinical questions, not simply to generate more data.

Our experience includes:

  • Genomics — insights related to brain health, inflammation, cardiovascular risk, methylation, detoxification, histamine sensitivity, medication response, fertility-related patterns, thyroid conversion, and more.

  • Cardiometabolic testing — advanced lipid testing and selected coronary imaging approaches such as Cleerly-supported analysis when appropriate.

  • Gut and microbiome testing — SIBO testing, stool analysis, organic acid testing, microbiome and digestive function assessment.

  • Food and nutrient testing — food sensitivity review, micronutrient status, and nutrition-related contributors to symptoms.

  • Environmental testing — heavy metals, mold, mycotoxins, and toxicant exposure patterns.

  • Chronic infection evaluation — Lyme and related infection patterns when clinically indicated.

  • Hormone and metabolic testing — adrenal, thyroid, sex hormones, estrogen metabolism, blood sugar regulation, and mitochondrial function.

What to Expect

We begin by listening carefully, reviewing your history in depth, and identifying the patterns that may connect your symptoms. From there, we use targeted testing when appropriate and build a personalized plan that supports healing through nutrition, lifestyle, supplements, and medical therapy when needed.

Billing

Insurance
We do not accept insurance.

Superbills

After scheduling
Once your appointment is scheduled, you will be sent 3 intake packets (approximately 40 pages of medical history) to complete and return as soon as possible before your visit. We will confirm before billing when a request is likely to require a billed, in-depth response.

Many specialty functional medicine labs are not covered by insurance; however, some basic labs may be covered depending on your plan and medical necessity. Any lab fees are separate from visit fees.
